The front bedroom. The chair was made in a workshop at a Stay at Home Miniaturists' Weekend; I sewed the carpet from a pattern in a book. If I find its title, I'll add a note of it here.
The bed and wardrobe. In the first picture I've turned to bed at an angle to show the detail better.
I then put on sheets, blanket, and pillows, topped by a silk bedspread and eiderdown.
On the bed is a pack of stockings. My mother liked to have several spare pairs. At this time if a stocking was laddered it was taken to a shop to be invisibly mended.
Chest of drawers, and matching dressing table.
The dressing table should go in the bay window, but then it just obstructs the view of the room, so I've moved it across to one side.
